An event for the next generation of film talent
On Wednesday the 18th February 2009 Future Film Focus, an event for the next generation of film talent, will provide attendees with the chance to find out what's needed to break into the film industry after their studies. Professionals from all areas of Film will share their knowledge and advice and get the chance to ask one to one questions during the evening networking opportunity.
Future Film Focus, will be hosted at The Landmarc, Restaurant Theatre in central Bournemouth. The event will be held over one day and is split into two parts, firstly from 12.30pm- 5pm, film enthusiasts will hear from industry professionals about the realities of entering a career in film production by passing on their skills, knowledge and enthusiasm to those hopeful to go far in the business.
Attendees will hear from speakers such as; Institute graduate and award winning director Oliver Irving and composer Joe Hastings of 'How To Be' which stars up and coming actor Robert Pattison. Eddie Berg Artistic Director of BFI Southbank will also share his expertise as well as Steve Piper Managing Director of Coffee Films, a British Independent film production company.

This will be followed by an evening of relaxed networking from 6-9pm providing 500 people the opportunity to gather fantastic contacts for the future, students the opportunity to meet with local Film based companies and inspiring industry individuals and for professionals to meet the next generation of film talent that could potentially be at the forefront of this competitive field in the near future.
CLSproductions are inviting students and young film professionals who have a passion for a career in the film industry as well as established individuals and companies from various areas of the industry involved in film employment, production and equipment.
